HOW TO ORDER
Placing an order with dbO Home is easy.
To add an item, simply click on the "Buy Now" button next to the item description.
The item will be added to your shopping cart.
You may continue to shop or checkout.
When you checkout you may add a gift message that will be included on the invoice.
You will be asked to fill out your billing and shipping information.
When finished, click "OK".
You will receive a confirmation of your order via email within 24 hours.
You will receive another email with shipping information once your order has been processed.
We accept Mastercard, Visa and Discover.
We ship all of our products from Litchfield County, Connecticut to the 48 contiguous United States via UPS Ground.
Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico require air shipping.
We ship to the U.S and Puerto Rico only.
We will not ship to a PO Box, so we need a street address, or if using a rural route number, a complete address and nearest crossroads.
All orders require two business days to process before shipping.
If your order is placed on a weekend or holiday it will be processed the next business day.
Business days are Monday - Friday, excluding holidays.
We do not ship on Saturdays or Sundays.
Shipments will be received within 3-10 days of shipping depending on your UPS postal zone.
We will let you know when you should expect delivery in the shipping confirmation email we will send you.
If you should require overnight shipping please contact us at email@example.com to make arrangements - additional charges will apply.
SHIPPING & HANDLING RATES
Shipping rates are calculated based on the price of your total order and the zipcode we are shipping to.
We have done our best to offer the lowest possible shipping and handling charges.
But please keep in mind that since our items are fragile, we double-box and insure each item.
We want your items to arrive safely and in one piece.
In some cases we may need to ship items separately in order to keep your shipping cost down.
Since we aim to process your order as quickly as possible, cancellations must be made via email to firstname.lastname@example.org within 24 hours.
From time to time, dbO Home issues discount offer codes for our retail customers.
Wholesale orders are excluded from any discount offer codes.
At dbO Home we aim to please, however, if you are not satisfied with your purchase we will accept it for an exchange or store credit of the amount paid for the item and sales tax (where applicable) within 2 weeks of purchasing.
Shipping charges will not be refunded.
If your order was damaged in shipment, please contact us immediately.
We do not accept returns on Special Orders.
HOW TO MAKE A RETURN
Customers must email email@example.com to receive a return authorization.
Merchandise returned without authorization will not be accepted and will be refused or returned to you at your expense.
Please include the return authorization number with the return.
You must ship the item back as we shipped to you - double- boxed and insured.
Items returned damaged will not be accepted and exchange or store credit will be denied.
You will receive a return confirmation email upon receipt of authorized, non-damaged goods.
At dbO Home we believe the information you share with us should stay between us.
We will never sell, or give-away your private information.
All credit card purchases are made on a secure server and encrypted to ensure your safety.
For each visitor to our web page, our web server, where possible, automatically recognizes the customer's domain or email address.
We collect the domain names and email address, where possible, of the visitors to our web page, the email addresses of those who communicate with us via email, aggregate information on what pages consumers access or visit and information volunteered by the consumer, such as survey information.
The information we collect is used to improve the content of our web page, used by us to contact consumers for marketing purposes and not shared with other organizations for commercial purposes.
If you wish to not receive email from us in the future, please let us know by emailing us and telling us you do not want to receive email from our company.
Can I request alternate shipping i.e. express shipping?
Yes of course.
You will need to contact firstname.lastname@example.org to make this request and we will give you options and the additional charges you will incur.
Do you charge sales tax on your items?
The law says we must charge sales tax to Connecticut residents only.
So if you live in Connecticut we add 6% state sales tax.
If you live outside of Connecticut you will not be charged sales tax.
Do you do special orders?
We would be happy to handle your special order.

Why does Olivekids.com handle the credit card authorization?
Well, since we are just starting out, my brother graciously offered to let us use his already existing shopping cart at www.olivekids.com to make things more efficient and less costly.
