Burls

The Burl Collection keeps getting bigger. We`ve added more colors and more shapes. Made in small batches - each handbuilt piece is unique. The sizes are approximate and the glazes vary but they each highlight a woodgrain pattern. The Chocolate and Honey glazes are the most intense of the colors with alot of variation and movement in the glaze on stoneware. Aqua is more subtle with some of the bare clay occasionally coming through and the woodgrain not as proounced - also stoneware. Oyster is the most refined in porcelain with an creamy glossy glaze and a delicate appeal. Truffle is a deep satin grey on porcelain - very masculine and modern. Steamer is a pale glossy grey also on porcelain that makes food pop. Latte - a milk chocolate on porcelain that just luscious and pairs beautifully with oyster. And Lettuce is a fun bright yellow green. The photos represent the overall look and color of the Burls but each one is as unique as you are.
