Queen Anne's Lace Cheeseboard - Indigo Glaze
This small batch of tableware, a tribute to my very first collection, encapsulates the fleeting magic of summer's end. Each piece is created by rolling Queen Anne’s Lace into the clay then cutting and forming into unique objects. The beautiful flower is abundant along the curvy rural roads of our Connecticut town. They’re a marker of summer and it’s softness. I’ve been asked on many occasions to bring the pattern back. This summer I made a limited selection of bowls and platters meant to elevate your table all year round.
The flat cheeseboard has been a fan favorite for years. Glazed in indigo, it mixes so well with the Kashmir collection.
