Queen Anne's Lace Oval Platter - Brown Sugar Glaze
This small batch of tableware, a tribute to my very first collection, encapsulates the fleeting magic of summer's end. Each piece is created by rolling Queen Anne’s Lace into the clay then cutting and forming into unique objects. The beautiful flower is abundant along the curvy rural roads of our Connecticut town. They’re a marker of summer and it’s softness. I’ve been asked on many occasions to bring the pattern back. This summer I made a limited selection of bowls and platters meant to elevate your table all year round.
The only oval platter I made in this small batch. It's a favorite shape made to use everyday.
