“My DBO pieces will be cherished for years to come, becoming modern heirlooms much like the family vintage that I've incorporated in the shots pictured here.”

Family pieces are important to me. They evoke memories of times past, special gatherings, mom’s cooking, and the seminal years of my life. You can’t go back in time, but you can revisit those times through everyday objects.

The vintage objects and photos that I’ve used in these vignettes, pay homage to my mom, grandma, dad and uncle and are paired with DBO Home bowls, plates, serving pieces and platters that can be treasured and passed along much in the same way by your family.

I started collecting DBO home pieces many years ago and they are still my favorite table items to use personally and for styling projects. My earliest favorites were the Kashmir and Honeycomb collection which pair seamlessly with the more recent lines, Formale, Battuto, Bare and Stucco. And my collection keeps on growing. They will never go out of style.

Working with photographer Hallie Burton was a dream and loads of fun. She has an gifted eye for finding the unexpected moments that might go unnoticed in a still life set up. Her food photography is a stand out as seen on her @foodmakersny instagram account. I couldn’t have been more thrilled to collaborate with her.”

Mom’s priority was making sure we had dinner together. Ravioli was always my favorite meal.

Dad was a horse lover and did “city slicker” trips out west and collected spurs and other equestrian paraphernalia.

Mom had a creative streak and painted and sculpted when she wasn’t busy keeping our home running.

My Uncle loved his whiskey and spirits in these classic MCM Georges Briard glasses.

This green bottle opener was always in our kitchen drawer and started me on a mission to collect wood handled kitchen tools.
