A gently sloping oval bowl, hand cut so no two are exactly alike. Inside, our indigo Kashmir print sits beneath a clear gloss, the pattern soft at the edges and richly detailed where it gathers. The shape feels easy in the hand and sits beautifully on the table, perfect for salads, roasted vegetables, grain dishes, or a tumble of fruit. Quietly refined for every day, special enough for a full table. Pattern placement and tone vary with each piece.

Inspired by our love of vintage dinnerware and a gift of Indian wood printing blocks, this collection evokes the feeling of being used and loved for years while maintaining our modern aesthetic. We purposefully imprint and glaze each piece to look slightly worn. The epitome of everyday glamour.
For our Kashmir pieces, we brush a mussel glaze into the woodblock-impressed pattern, wipe it back, then seal everything under a clear gloss. In the kiln, the wash deepens to a soft indigo that settles in the details and fades at the edges for an airy blue-and-white finish. We mix this glaze in small batches and apply it by hand, so natural variation in tone and placement is expected. Tiny organic specks may appear; they are part of the process and the beauty of handmade work.

Each piece is made to order in our Connecticut studio, one by one. Subtle variations in size, color, and shape are part of what make them special—no two are exactly alike. You may notice small imperfections—what we like to call perfectly imperfect.
Crafted For Everyday Luxury
We work with durable, high-fire porcelain and glaze each piece by hand at over 2200 degrees. Our glazes are food-safe, lead-free, and dishwasher friendly (unless noted above). Whether it’s a morning coffee or a long, candlelit dinner, our ceramics are made to be lived with—every day.

Unless otherwise noted, our porcelain pieces are dishwasher and oven safe. (For example, pieces with our bronze glaze should not be used in the microwave—this will always be specified in the product description.)
While dishwasher safe, we recommend hand washing to help extend the life of your pottery.
To remove dirt, stains, or silverware marks—especially on matte or semi-matte glazes—use Bar Keeper’s Friend, a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser, or a paste of baking soda and warm water.
Our tableware can be warmed in the oven, but avoid sudden temperature changes. Please don’t transfer pieces directly from the freezer to a hot oven or from the oven into the fridge. Gradual temperature shifts are best.
Do not place ceramic pieces over an open flame.
Though we do have some stock in the studio, most items are made to order. Please allow 15 business days to ship. Larger orders may take longer. If your order will take longer than 15 business days we will send you an email providing an estimated ship date. Please note that some items (for example, lamps and dinnerware sets) include special production times in their descriptions.
We ship all of our products within the Continental United States from our studio in Sharon, CT via UPS Ground. Your order should arrive to you within 2-8 business days from the day it ships depending on your proximity to our studio. Once your order is shipped we will provide you with a tracking number via e-mail. All orders ship Monday through Friday.
We accept returns for exchange or store credit only. Because all of our pieces are made by hand there will be slight imperfections and variations that we do not see as flaws, but instead make our products uniquely ours. All of the items made at DBO HOME are inspected for defects before they are shipped out. It is important to us that our customers are happy with our products. If you are not satisfied with your purchase we will work to find you a perfect replacement or issue you a store credit. Custom items are final sale.
